If you haven’t been paying attention to baseball this season you should be shot. The Cubs are playing great baseball, own the best record in baseball, are 34 games over .500, and have now won 6 in a row - including Thursday night’s come-from-behind win over the Fightin’ Phils.

For the first time since 2003 the Cubs of Chicago have won the division. It’s the first time the club has gone to the post season twice in any five year span since they did it in 1935 and 1938.
